2024 OBOA Annual Business Meeting (ABM) & Conference EXHIBIT + SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES Register Sponsor/Exhibit | Download Printable Flyer The Oregon Building Officials Association (OBOA) is a statewide professional non-profit organization providing exceptional educational and networking opportunities for our 1,100+ member representatives. Our members include building officials, inspectors, plan examiners, permit technicians, engineers, building designers, architects, and contractors. Our Annual Business Meeting (ABM) is THE highly anticipated, flagship “must attend” event for code officials and building departments across Oregon and the PNW region. We expect approximately 100 building safety professionals to attend the popular two-day event – the perfect size to personally meet and greet decision–makers and those with influence, reaching most jurisdictions in Oregon, all in one place. Most attendees will be Building Officials as well as other department leadership (leads, chiefs, etc.). Sponsorships are a great way to spotlight your name and company to the dozens of building departments represented at our conference. PACKAGE SPONSORSHIPS + BENEFITS All package sponsors receive: one tabletop exhibit and one complimentary full attendee registration*, brief podium time to verbally address the general session (all attendees), pre-event promotional recognition in email marketing blasts, web/calendar pages, logo and listing in the attendee brochure (if received prior to printing), acknowledgements and listing in onsite meeting materials and the formal printed program, verbal recognition throughout entire event by the OBOA President and Emcees, acknowledgement on the OBOA website year-round, and signage at the event. *The individual using the attendee registration(s) included in packages must also complete the separate individual attendee registration form. PLATINUM SPONSOR – Member $2,500; Non-Member $3,000: All benefits listed above, PLATINUM Sponsor recognition plus priority placement of exhibit table and two complimentary full attendee registrations to the 2024 OBOA ABM (registrations valued at over $990) – includes all hosted meals and access to full programming/attendee benefits; includes one complimentary spouse/companion social ticket for Wednesday and Thursday; and priority podium time. INDIVIDUAL SPONSORSHIPS + BENEFITS Please note individual sponsorships do not include attendee registration or an exhibit tabletop, but either can be purchased separately. NAME BADGE SPONSOR — Member $750; Non-Member $950: Primary benefit includes having your company logo printed on every conference badge (attendees, speakers, exhibitors, guests, etc.). This highly visible promotion is seen by everyone! LANYARD SPONSOR —Member $750; Non-Member $950: Primary benefit includes each attendee wears/receives a lanyard with your company logo/art with their badge. Sponsor is responsible for also providing the lanyards. MORNING OR AFTERNOON BREAK SPONSOR — Member $800; Non-Member $1,000: Breaks are a great chance to network and serve as an opportunity to make your brand more memorable to attendees. Light hosted refreshments provided. LUNCH SPONSOR —Member $2,000; Non-Member $2,300:Primary benefits include an opportunity to address the entire audience during lunch with two minutes of podium time. MAIN RECEPTION SPONSOR — Member $2,500; Non-Member, $3,000:Primary benefits include an opportunity to personally welcome attendees to this reception and pass out drink tickets and enjoy the increased visibility at the Thursday Reception with Live Music. If you are interested in providing a custom sponsorship, please contact the OBOA office to discuss. Exhibits and sponsorships are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is strongly encouraged; priority placement is given to early sign-ups. EXHIBIT TABLETOP SPACE + BENEFITS EXHIBIT FEES: Member $850 / Non-Member $1,150 All exhibitors receive one 6’ tabletop exhibit table, an ID sign and two chairs. Exhibitors receive recognition in pre-event promotional materials, acknowledgement in brochure, program and onsite printed materials (if received prior to printing), verbal recognition throughout the event, on the OBOA website year-round, and on signage at the event. Only package sponsors receive podium speaking time and all attendee introductions. Exhibit registrations include one company representative to staff the table. Rep registration includes the hosted breakfasts (Thursday and Friday), all breaks, and Thursday’s lunch but does not include full attendee registration/benefits, CEUs, or the social evening receptions on Wednesday or Thursday. To participate in the evening receptions, please be sure to add “Reception Tickets” upon exhibit registration. Additional reps may join by registering as an additional exhibit rep. All individual rep exhibitors must be registered. BENEFITS OF EXHIBITING:
WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE EXHIBITS BE HELD? All activities of the 2024 OBOA Annual Business Meeting (ABM) will be held at Riverhouse on the Deschutes Convention Center in Bend, Oregon. Exhibits will be open throughout the entire ABM which starts Thursday, July 18 at 7:30 am and ends on Friday, July 19 at 11:45 am. Exhibit tables will be placed near general sessions and breaks; refer to the ABM schedule for specific session/event times. Set-up: Wednesday, July 17 from 6:30-7:30 pm | Tear-down: Friday, July 19 from 12-2 pm. All exhibit items must fit onto the tabletop provided for each exhibiting company. Large banners or other booth items must fit within the space allotted or will not be allowed due to space limitations and out of respect for other exhibitors. Power is not included though there will be limited access; we suggest bringing individual power cords and extension strips. All exhibitors are encouraged to host drawings or giveaways at their table for attendees during the meeting.
