About our Keynote Presentation

Invite your Planning, Engineering, and Legal Teams too!*

The City of Bend was the first city in Oregon to implement the HB 2306 program in early 2020. This presentation will provide an overview of HB 2306, what factors the City explored in developing and launching the program, and important things to consider for other jurisdictions looking to comply with this legislation.

*Due to the complexity of the program, we encourage you to invite members from your planning and engineering teams as well. The success of Bend’s program is built upon the relationships between these three departments as well as coordination from our Development Services group.

Attendees will receive a copy of a very helpful outline of the presentation. This includes several graphs, flow charts, and other template information.

Bring questions! Let's learn from those who have spent countless hours making it work. Ask questions, and engage with those who have already been there.

Presented by City of Bend Team

Russell Grayson, PE – Community Development Director, City of Bend. We will also have Gina Dahl, Program Manager – Development Services and Joe McClay, Building Official to help answer questions.

Webinar Instructions/Details

Upon registration on the OBOA website, attendees will receive a confirmation email that contains important details to access the meeting, which will be held via Zoom. Only registered attendees will be admitted to attend the meeting; Zoom access details may not be shared.

IMPORTANT: Upon entry to the webinar, be sure your "Name" is set with your full first and last name (ex: John Smith) -- NO phone numbers or nicknames -- for security purposes. Numbers and/or unrecognized names will not be allowed to enter. We appreciate your compliance with this standard protocol.

ICC PPP Continuing Education Credit (CEUs) – Important Details

This course has been approved through the International Code Council Preferred Provider Program for 0.30 (3 hours) of continuing education units (CEUs).

OBOA maintains record of all meeting participants and it is the responsibility of each individual to submit for credit with ICC. Certificates of Participation for individual record keeping will be provided on a request basis.

LOGGING IN/DURING MEETING: To ensure accurate CE reporting to ICC (so that you get credit!), each attendee must log in to the webinar separately from their own individual device (computer or laptop, no phones or tablets). We realize some of you may want to join together (ie in a conference room with other registered attendees), but that would not be reflected on the attendance report so we ask you to please access individually to avoid any issues.

Thank you for your continued support of OBOA! We look forward to seeing you on February 19.
